What I want for Christmas
And Chris Tregnenza just sent me this wonderful link to the pairing of--wait for it--Hello Kitty and Fender guitars. Not a joke. This is definitely a step in the passionate users direction--they have a You Rock! page that leads you to the Fender Players Club where you can learn to play. This is just too good. And haven't you always wanted to see Hello Kitty in an outfit that could only have come from Hot Topic?
And Thomas Hawk sent me a note about his experience with a Starbucks promo. I honestly don't know how I feel about this yet, but it's something to think about...
Finally, Dori Smith made a post--with EQ sliders--on her and Tom Negrino's Backup Brain blog, on comparing tech book series. Be sure to read the comments too, if you're interested, where we discuss other possible sliders.
[update: there were two pictures in this post, but for mysterious reasons they aren't showing up in all browsers, so I deleted them from this post.]

Unfortunately, you can't control the pitch with the iDJ -- or else I'd be all over it, too!

Christmas is gone..But I still want that hello kitty guitar. My daughter would love having that! she can finally give up her old rusty guitar her brother gave her on her seventeenth birthday. And the mp3 and ipod collection at 'thinkgeek' is AWESOME! Boy, I should start saving more!
